Laura Pager, President and Director

Joliet, IL

Laura Pager, owner, opened the firm in 1996 along with Michael Gale. Laura is responsible for the marketing and overall corporate strategy for Gale Construction Company. Prior to starting Gale Construction, Laura had a thirteen year career in financial services. Laura serves as a Director for the Federation of Women Contractors and is active in many industry organizations.

Laura is an avid gardener. Summers in Chicago are spent sailing with her partner David. They both dote on their beloved beagle, Milo.

Michael Gale, Sr. Vice President & Director of Operations

Port Charlotte, FL & Joliet, IL

Mike Gale has worked in the construction industry since 1979. He started as a union carpenter working on Chicago high rises and bridges. Mike has extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of field management. Skills include welding, equipment operation, pile driving, CDL license, concrete finishing, and is certified to install helical piling systems. Mike oversees all GCC field operations in multiple states. Mike has QCM NAVFAC and USACE Certification and OSHA 30. Happy to be Working is his Motto!

When Mike is allowed some down time he is fishing and off on adventures with his wife, Missy. Mike has two adorable grandchildren and the pleasure of working with his two adult children daily.

Daniel Bajic, Vice President

Joliet, IL

Dan brought his breadth of management and business development to Gale Construction in June 2020. Dan is responsible for daily management of projects and oversees GCC personnel. Dan’s prior experiences in manufacturing, operations and design-build construction have led him to the ideal fit for overseeing Gale Construction’s current growth. Dan’s experience as an Adjunct Professor at Saint Xavier University has prepared him for guiding and herding all our energies in the right direction.

Dan enjoys tennis, horseback riding, fishing with his boys and spending time with his family.

Melissa Gale, Office Manager

Port Charlotte, FL & Joliet, IL

Every company has a go-to person and Gale Construction Company’s is Missy Gale. Missy joined GCC from AIG Insurance in 2009. She has been an integral part of our growth. Missy manages our IT, all administrative work for three offices, Payroll, AP/AR, Certified Payrolls and is responsible for overall client management.

Missy splits her time between IL and Port Charlotte, FL. She is devoted to her husband and son and enjoys spending time with her extended family. Missy has never met a stranger and is a friend to all she meets.

Jonathan Hunter, SSHO

Meadville, PA

When Gale Construction Company was awarded a USACE Philadelphia project our SSHO search led to Jonathan in May 2020. Jonathan came to GCC with a wealth of knowledge having worked in the oil & gas industry for 15 years. His prior experience managing quality assurance plans, on-site evaluations and internal audits of oil & gas customers provided a solid base for working on federal USACE and GSA projects. Jonathan is responsible for GCC’s Safety Handbook, all safety protocols, provides weekly toolbox talks and assesses each contract’s safety requirements. Jonathan has become an integral part of GCC’s team.

While based out of our Meadville, PA office, Jonathan spends time with his family on their working farm. Off hours are spent tending livestock, running after two rambunctious dogs, while he and his wife keep after two active sons. Jonathan is a hunter, fisherman and tends to livestock.

Kayleigh Cimaroli, Controller

Joliet, IL

Kayleigh joined GCC in July 2021. She brings 5 years of public accounting experience from Ernst & Young. Kayleigh had an opportunity to work in EY’s London office after joining their Chicago office 2017. Kayleigh’s tasked with oversight of accounting and finance functions. She is developing and implementing new accounting processes as Gale Construction Company continues our growth.

On the personal side Kayleigh enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is an outdoor enthusiast. Her loyal companion, Nova, is often by her side.

Tammy Congelose, Quality Control Manager

Joliet, IL

Tammy joined GCC in April 2016. As Quality Control Manager she handles project submittals to the government agencies. Tammy manages subcontracts and works closely with administrative contracting officers along with GCC’s project managers making sure our projects proceed successfully. Prior to joining GCC Tammy had 16+ years writing specifications for NAVINST, SECNAV, OPNAV and has work experience with Lockheed Martin Quality Assurance. Tammy has worked overseas at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Tammy has OSHA 30, QCM Course NAVFAC-USACE.

During off-hours Tammy enjoys spending time with her adult daughters, four adorable grandchildren, and her puppy Piccolo.

Frank Kral, Project Manager

Joliet, IL

Frank joined Gale Construction Company in April 2019. GCC had known Frank when he worked with Molter Corp and as they shifted focus, we were fortunate to have Frank join our team. Frank brought his federal government and supply chain experience to us. He often works on-site keeping our USACE projects running smoothly. Frank has his QCM Course NAVFAC-USACE and OSHA 30 certificates.

On off time Frank spends time caring for his parents and spending time with his three children.

Kimberly Willey, Project Manager

St. Louis, MO

Gale Construction Company was happy to have Kim join our firm in June 2020. Kim brought an abundant amount of federal work experience and knowledge. Her main focus since joining GCC has been on GSA work and managing a $2,000,000 GSA MATOC project in St. Louis. Kim has traditionally worked at small federal contracting firms and her sources and institutional knowledge have been a true plus for GCC.

Kim is a doting grandmother to two boys. She and Brian spend time with their grandchildren in the Ozarks whenever possible.

Danielle Gale, Foreman

Port Charlotte, FL

Dani is an equipment Operator. She learned the trades starting off as a laborer in Chicago. After serving in the military, Danielle moved to FL and established a home and family. She is a typical Gale coming to work daily with a solid work ethic and good sunny attitude. Danielle has inherited her father’s innate ability to operate any piece of equipment once the key is turned.

Danielle has a daughter and son and a terrific life partner. Her family has multiple dogs, horses and they are always enjoying outdoor activities in southern FL.


David Gale, Superintendent

Port Charlotte, FL

David is an equipment Operator having learned the trade with the Operators Local 150 in northern, IL. David worked on complicated projects for large construction companies, including Granite, prior to relocating to FL. David has extensive experience working in marine construction with TSI prior to re-joining Gale Construction Company as GCC began our FL operations.

David relocated to FL to spend time near his sister and take care of his family.
