Demolition

Removal of the existing structure and constructino of a precast, prestressed concrete deck beam bridge and all approach roadwork. Work includes removal of existing superstructure and replacement of deck beams and deck. 

500 tons of outcropping flagstone for shoreline stabilization to allow canoe and emergency vehicle access to the Des Plaines River. A limestone trail and parking lot striping was completed.

Removed and replaced sixteen (16) 40'x50' picnic shelters. Five subcontractors were employed for the project.

70’x8’ pedestrian bridge with concrete abutments.  Planted wetland plantings to create shoreline stabilization and a limestone trail.
